We believe that you were not created to live and do life alone, but we were created to live in authentic friendship as we journey with Christ together. At Stonegate, we are committed to helping you develop and grow in community. Community is best described as a place of growth with people through the events of life where failure is expected, set-backs are normal and change is the common result. Our primary context in helping you connect in community is COM Groups.
What are COM Groups?
COM Groups are adult small groups designed to be a place to build authentic friendships as we move together toward lives of greater influence.
Who attends COM Groups?
COM Groups are for everyone at every stage of life. They are filled with people who are in different stages and different places of the spiritual growth journey. We will work with you to connect you with a group that best fits your present journey as a Christ follower.
When do COM Groups meet?
COM Groups meet every 2nd and 4th week of the month and while most groups meet on Sunday evenings, there are groups that meet throughout the week, making it easy to work into your schedule.
What do we study in COM Groups?
COM Groups center on building relationships that move us toward lives of influence. Study guides are designed to facilitate discussion and are based on real life issues and concerns. They are simple and require very little pre-group preparation. COM Groups seek to paint a realistic picture of what life in Jesus looks like.
What about my kids?
For kids birth through 6th grade, we provide COMKids. They are scheduled during regularly scheduled COM Group meeting nights.
For students 7th through 12th grade, we provide individual COM Groups through our Student Ministry. >more on student lifegroups
