Why?

There’s no catch!  No hook! 
Call it a random act of kindness.
You did nothing to earn the gift you were given.
It was unexpected and you probably didn’t even know someone was doing this for you.

Random for you but planned by the person who did it.
Free to you but at a cost to the person who paid for it.
Done on purpose to share love and this time it was you.

That’s what God has done for us.
A long time ago God set in motion His epic story.
His plan was amazing, wonderful and full of joy, peace and love.
But along the way things got pretty messed up.

No matter who you are, what you have done or what your situation is today, God loves you and sent His son Jesus as His free gift to you.
Jesus paid for all of our mistakes when He died on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice, the ultimate gift.

What we need to do is be willing to receive the gift He gave us.
You did not earn it.
Someone else paid for you.
Here at Stonegate we are far from perfect. 
We are a group of people who have individually chosen to receive what Jesus purchased for us - a clean slate, a new beginning and a new relationship with God.

It’s a lot bigger than can be explained right here and now.
This is just the beginning.
That’s why we want you to know you are welcome to come by and visit us. Anytime. Any service. Stop by. We can start walking and talking together.
