About Us

Welcome to Stonegate Midland. We are so glad you decided to visit. Stonegate is a church that believes that Jesus transforms lives. We are all imperfect people who have been saved by grace and welcome you to be a part.

All of our campuses have a slightly different feel, but all our campuses work towards the same goal: to see people transformed by Jesus Christ.

When should I get there?

It’s a good idea to arrive at least 30 minutes early because our weekend services tend to fill up quickly.

Where do I park?

We try to structure parking in a way that allows the maximum amount of people to attend our services. Please follow the team’s instructions when parking. Also, we want to love our neighbors and serve them well, so we ask you not to park in the neighborhoods surrounding the church.

What should I wear?

You’re invited to come as you are, whether it’s a suit or shorts you feel most comfortable wearing. Our member partners and attendees tend to dress pretty casual.

Meeting Times

Sunday

9 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.

Check-in

Children may be checked in 15 minutes before the service starts. If you’re visiting for the first time, you will need to fill out a registration card to receive a key fob and security pick-up tags. You can fill one out digitally here, or at the checkin desk before service. The stickers serve two purposes:

Parent Paging

If we need you during service, we will text the number we have on file as well as display the alphanumeric code on your pick-up tag in service.

Child Pick-up

You must present your security pick-up tag before we release your child.

Child Wellness Policy

If your child is ill, they should not be in SGKids. Here are some signs of sickness:

– Fever

– Diarrhea

– Persistent runny nose with substantial discharge

– Lethargy

– Hacking or wet-sounding cough

Birth – Kindergarten

We love and value our birth – kindergarten department. We see this area as a ministry, not simply childcare. We want this to be the best place your child comes to all week! We strive to love your child, create a fun atmosphere for them to play, pray for your child, teach them the Bible and share the good news of Jesus. Though they are in different developmental stages, we seek to accomplish these tasks through multiple, creative ways.

1st – 5th Grades

We continue to implement the same values in our 1st – 5th grade ministry. We want Stonegate Kids to be a blast for your child! Here, they get to experience activities and teaching that fit their age range. These areas also include worship, an exciting large group teaching time, and intentional small group discussions as we teach them the Bible.

After the lessons, students participate in various crafts and activities to reinforce lessons from the Bible. As always, your child will be loved by our servant-leaders, have a lot of fun, be prayed for, and be taught the Bible in fun and creative ways.

Servant-Leaders

You can be assured that every time we receive your child, we will love them, pray for them, and creatively share the Bible and Jesus’ good news. Above all, know that safety is our first concern for your child.

Servant-Leaders are required to be background checked, be members of Stonegate Fellowship, and have received training for their specific role.

As well, we have tight security ranging from our check in system to video monitoring. We look forward to meeting your child!

Family Dedication

In the devotion to be intentional about walking with families, the Next-Generation ministry at Stonegate Fellowship has reinvented our dedication process. We are now dedicating families. Family Dedication, mainly geared towards the new addition to your family, is far more than committing them to the Lord. We are walking families through what it looks like to be part of the Stonegate family and raise your children to know the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord. This process is also a celebration of the people you have around you who are willing to walk with your family as you strive to recognize all you were designed, called and gifted to be. Stonegate Fellowship is just one part of that community of believers.

Things to keep in mind about what we require to dedicate families at Stonegate:

-Both parents (if applicable) are to be members of Stonegate.

-Both parents (if applicable) are asked to be available to attend orientation, celebration, and dedication.

Family Dedication is not a requirement for membership at Stonegate and is not any form of baptism or christening. This public commitment is a symbolic celebration of Stonegate Fellowship and the Next-Generation ministry walking with your family as you raise your child.

SGY (6th – 12th Grades)

In our 6th–12th grade ministry, we want to see students connect with one another/adult mentors/ and ultimately Jesus, grow as His disciples and influence their world for His name. We teach from the Scriptures and help parents proclaim to their kids who God is and what He has done in the person and work of Jesus Christ.

SGY exists because Jesus completely transforms lives, therefore, our mission is to point students to a transforming relationship with Jesus.

Midland Groups & Classes

We believe that growth happens best in the context of community.  At Stonegate, the best way to find healthy Christ-Centered community is through joining a group.

At Stonegate, the best way to find healthy Christ-Centered community is through joining a group.

Our small groups are made up of people from all stages and walks of life.   These groups may look diverse from the outside, but they all have one thing in common; a deep desire to know Jesus more.
