Welcome to the Counseling Ministry of Stonegate Fellowship. Our ministry exists to meet the many relational, emotional, and spiritual needs of our church body, as well as our community. Our ministry team consists of a licensed marriage and family therapist, pastoral counselors, counseling associates, counseling interns, and a lay-counseling team.

All of our therapists, counselors, and pastors share a Christian worldview. We are committed to helping our clients discover and change the unhealthy ways in which they may be dealing with painful emotions, distorted thinking or unhealthy ways of relating to others. Ultimately, our goal is to help you develop an intimate relationship with God, through Jesus Christ, along with a right relationship with others. Counseling, by design, is intended to be temporary, goal-oriented and intentionally moving toward the successful completion of your counseling process.

What to Expect

Your initial visit will consist of an intake interview, which is vital in helping us to understand your needs and determine if we are best suited to meet those needs. Following the intake interview, our team will determine if placement with one of our counselors or a referral is the best option. If we believe that we are not well suited to address your needs on a timely basis, we will refer you to another professional provider.

Each session is 50 minutes. We provide counseling to individuals, adolescents ages 13 & up, couples & marriages, and families. Typically, we provide short-term counseling, usually lasting six sessions. If your needs require more extensive care, we will offer appropriate referrals.
