Below, you’ll find a Checklist for Church / Worship Attendees as set forth by the Texas Department of State Health Services. We have also included a link that will take you to the website for the Texas Department of Health Services as it regards to opening the state of Texas. This page contains the most up-to-date information on protocols, executive orders, exceptions, and amendments that have been issued from the office of Governor Abbott over the last several months.
As we continue to reopen for Sunday services and SGKids, things will look a bit different than normal for a while. Like any big change, we know everything goes a lot more smoothly when we all know what to expect:
While masks are currently not required, they are highly encouraged based on Governor Abbotts’ most recent updates on Thursday, July 2. Our Guest Services Team will have single-use disposable masks available at the entrances of our Worship Center for anyone who wishes to wear one during service.
– Our current service times for Midland Main and Odessa, are 9:00 and 10:30.
– We will no longer have North Campus services for the time being.
We are so excited to announce that we’ve (RE)LAUNCHED SGKids in both Midland and Odessa! Our Kids team has been hard at work the last few months preparing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for kids to come learn about Jesus, and we loved welcoming our kids back! Check out our Kids page for more information.
We will still have our awesome Kids Videos available online for anyone who needs them! You can access those here.
At the start of each Sunday, all of our venues will be sprayed down with a CDC-approved disinfectant. In between services our Guest Services Team will be cleaning all hard surfaces in our auditorium, foyer, and bathrooms. We will also have additional hand sanitizer stationed throughout our campus. We ask that everyone practice safe social distancing to the best of their abilities.
Our amazing team of Ushers will be assisting with our entry and exit process on both campuses. We will be seating every row, however we still encourage everyone to spread out and socially distance as much as possible.
While we will not be serving donuts, we will have coffee which will be served by our Café Team.
BYOB (Bible, that is!)
For the time being, we will not have Bibles in our auditorium so be sure to bring your own! We’ll also have the verses up on screen for you to follow along.
